Midnight on the Great Highway I am constantly bumping into the strange tropes of being a television correspondent, and it turns out that a classic joke among people in this business has to do with standing in front of a gas station when prices go up. Big props to my Mom for going hard at the battle ropes this morning. “What is this for?” she asked, not unreasonably, before crushing a second round. Tonight on @nbcnightlynews we look at the electric-vehicle future. Let’s say we succeed in converting all 250+ million US vehicles to battery power. This morning on @todayshow we’ll introduce you to Phoenix, a dog cloned from her owner’s prior love, Willow. For $20,000 or more, anyone can now genetically reincarnate their lost pets - an unregulated piece of cutting-edge science that pushes right up against the limits of what genetic research can and should achieve.(An @emilypandise production!) A beautiful evening hiking out to some music by the @moonstruck.community.
